The longer I’m married, the more I realize my husband really is a keeper!
Without Vance, I wouldn’t have my own business. I wouldn’t be living my dream. I wouldn’t be reaching my potential. He’s given me 100% support, incredible advice, and a good kick in the butt when I’ve needed it. And let me tell you… being the procrastination queen, I need a good swift kick now and then!
Now I know he already sounds fabulous, but I haven’t even gotten to the best part. My husband possesses an amazing enthusiasm for life. Vance loves living, breathing, and enjoying each and every moment he can. Life with him is always unpredictable and filled with belly laughs galore!
A couple days ago I was reminded of his fabulousness. Vance had convinced me to get off the computer and play the infamous game of Candyland with our two little princesses. Since it is a quick game, I obliged… knowing I could get back to work in a jiffy![]()
The game was moving along quickly just as I had planned. I had finally passed the Chocolate Swamp and was on the verge of victory! It was time to shuffle the deck, so Vance quickly prepared the cards for final play.
To my horror the next card I drew was Jolly’s, sending me all the way back to Gumdrop Mountain! My oldest daughter was next. She drew Mr. Mint’s card placing her back in the Peppermint Forest. Immediately following her play, my youngest was sent back to Peanut Acres. At that point, I wasn’t suprised to see my husband draw a card sending him way back to the Gingerbread Tree. Yes, you guessed it… he had stacked the deck, forcing the game to LIVE ON!
I surrendered with a smile from ear to ear, and decided to live it up on Gumdrop Mountain that night :) Thank you Vance, for reminding me to enjoy this amazing life I’m lucky enough to be living!
